About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness - Excel Fitness in Waco, TX, as a Member Services Representative! In this vital mid-morning role from 7am to 1pm, you'll be the friendly face of our gym, helping members achieve their fitness goals while creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist members and guests with a positive attitude.
- Manage member check-ins and provide information about gym facilities and services.
- Address and resolve member inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Promote membership sales and special promotions to potential members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
- Assist in scheduling fitness classes and personal training sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive gym experience.
- Monitor facility usage and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a fitness environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of fitness and wellness concepts is preferred.
- Flexible schedule with availability during mid-morning hours.
- Positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
- Proficiency in computer systems and point-of-sale software.
